Authorities of Passion Air finally spoke about the alleged abusive and racist incident which occurred at the Kumasi Airport. In a press release, the authorities explained that they will never discriminate against anybody based on orientation, religion, color or race. They further urged the general public to have faith in them.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED AT THE KUMASI AIRPORT WHICH CAUSED THE UPROAR?
On Monday 15th August, a social media user circulated that he was discriminated upon. According to him, Passion Air gave a Caucasian lady prior audience at the Kumasi Airport and ignored him.
Speaking on the allegation, Passion Air made some clarifications. They explained that, the Caucasian lady had already booked and checked in before the man came. That means they didn’t give the white lady any preference. Meanwhile, it’s the black man who came to the airport late after checking had closed. He still insisted that they should serve him. After officials declined, he started insulting the Airport staff.

Despite his verbal abuse, Passion Air arranged for him to use the next flight.
